Full Job Description

Private practice in Sturgeon Bay, WI hiring a full-time optometrist – Medical-heavy, no weekends, great support staff!

This full-scope practice provides a lot of convenient medical care to their community. There will be opportunities for surgical and ocular disease co-management, dry eye treatment, specialty lens fittings, and they are also part of the infantSEE program. With OCT, visual field, and Optos, as well as dedicated, well-trained support staff, this opportunity would be great for any optometrist who prioritizes quality patient care in a welcoming, collaborative environment.

Overview:

Mon-Fri schedule
Well-trained, dedicated technicians for pretesting and contact lens support
No call requirement
EHR: Revolution
Patient base covers all ages
Part-time or full-time opportunities available

Responsibilities:

See 2 patients per hour (16-18 per day with office visits)
Routine vision exams
Contact lens and specialty lens fittings
Ocular disease – diagnose and co-manage
Post-op exams
Dry eye management
InfantSEE exams
Foreign body removal

Compensation and benefits:

$150,000 base pay plus production bonuses for a 38-hour week
$300 monthly insurance stipend
Fully funded IRA + max contribution allowed
AOA and local associate dues
Up to $5k per year tax-free bonus for student loan repayment
Continuing education stipend and PTO
2-3 weeks PTO
Malpractice insurance

Minimum requirements:

Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
License to practice in Wisconsin
