Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a welcoming atmosphere, and promote the restaurant’s growth and profitability. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Duties

Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
Manage daily operations including shift management, inventory control, and cash handling using POS systems such as Clover POS or Micros POS.
Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to cultivate a skilled and motivated team.
Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food production procedures.
Coordinate with kitchen management for food production schedules, catering events, banquet services, or special promotions.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
Conduct staff interviews and assist in hiring qualified team members aligned with the restaurant’s values.
Promote a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, effective communication, and leadership development.

Experience

Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a strong background in food service management.
Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management.
Prior experience supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant settings is essential; assistant manager experience is highly valued.
Familiarity with culinary operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, catering services, and banquet operations.
Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, team development, interviewing candidates, and managing hospitality teams.
Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and customer service excellence.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food quality and safety standards.
