Position Overview:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling component parts for rail signaling and communications equipment.
What your day-to-day will look like:

Assemble electro-mechanical products and components by following assembly drawings, bills of materials, and standardized work instructions.

Perform hands-on production tasks, including wire preparation, crimping, soldering, testing, and product verification to ensure quality standards are met.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while properly operating and caring for production equipment and tools.

Support production flow through material handling, inventory replenishment, packaging, shipping, and other manufacturing activities as needed.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by participating in team meetings, problem-solving activities, and process improvement initiatives.

To thrive in this role, you have:

High school diploma.

Must be able to read work instructions, schematics, assembly drawings, and prints.

Must be able to understand the English language in order to understand verbal instructions.

Previous experience in Mechanical Assembly preferred.

Previous soldering skills may be required. (Training and Test will be provided)

Previous Electronic experience in PCB assembly and/or cable assembly may be required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Ability to utilize power tools, hand tools, machinery, and equipment required to perform job.

Ability to occasionally lift and carry minimal weights from 2 to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to occasionally climb heights of 5 - 15 feet on a ladder.

Ability to occasionally twist.

This position in located in Marion, KY. The starting hourly rate for this position is $17.60. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
