Full Job Description

We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to support automotive vehicle development programs by managing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts and purchase agreements. This position plays a critical role in controlling development costs, protecting intellectual property, and ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contractual documents including Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Engineering Design & Development (ED&D) quotations.
Review and negotiate supplier costs, terms, and conditions associated with high-value purchase orders and engineering development activities.
Manage contracts related to engineering services, product development, software development, and supplier engagements.
Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, finance, legal, and supplier teams to support vehicle development initiatives.
Analyze contract terms to identify risks, ensure compliance, and protect company intellectual property.
Utilize SAP ECC, Ariba, and internal approval workflows to process contracts and purchase orders.
Maintain accurate contract documentation and records throughout the contract lifecycle.
Support supplier communications, issue resolution, and contract interpretation.
Assist in cost reduction initiatives by evaluating supplier proposals and contract terms.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, purchasing procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal Studies, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of Contract Administration, Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Management, or related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
Strong negotiation skills with experience managing high-dollar contracts and purchase orders.
Experience working within SAP ECC, Ariba, or similar ERP/procurement systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
