Summary:

This role will support CAE development activities.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing Abaqus
Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using nCode and Metapost for post processing.
Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
Travel to client site required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years relevant exp. or Master's degree in Engineering and 3+ years relevant exp
Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
Experience with CAE tools Abaqus, Ansa, and nCode are required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel.

Preferred Skills:

CAD design experience preferred
