Perform kennel cleaning procedures according to the established methods specified in the employee manual or following special instructions.
Give bath and basics does whatever grooming that may be necessary to the treatment and constant cleanliness of each animal.
Make sure animals are clean prior to discharge.
Recognize and record unusual condition or abnormal behavior of any hospitalized/boarding animal; observe animals recovering from anesthesia and report signs of illness, disease, injury or unusual activity to doctor or technicians.
Maintain documentation when needed.
Feed each animal as prescribed and records appetites along with drinking and bathroom habits.
Receive animals to be admitted for hospital care/boarding and is responsible for their proper identification and for recording their respective locations.
Release animals to their owners as directed and ensure that every animal released is clean.

Assist doctor, technicians and assistants with the administration of medications or with restraint.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
