Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional hospitality to every guest. As the first and last person our guests encounter, you play a vital role in creating memorable experiences while representing the IHG brand.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude.
Efficiently check guests in and out using the OPERA Property Management System.
Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance shift reports.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
Promote the IHG One Rewards program.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding room status and guest requests.
Maintain an organized and professional front desk area.
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Ensure guest confidentiality and security at all times.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Hotel experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to multitask under pressure.
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
Reliable transportation.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18+ years old.

Availability Requirements

Our hotel operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To be considered for this position, applicants must:

Be available to work weekends.
Be available to work holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and other recognized holidays as business demands require.
Be willing and able to report to work during inclement weather, including snow, ice, and severe weather conditions.
Be flexible to work morning, evening, night audit, and rotating shifts as needed.
Understand that reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
