Avita Health System is proud to serve the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. Over the past few years, we’ve tripled in size, now employing over 2,200 team members and more than 160 physicians and advanced practitioners. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator (RN) to join our Obstetrics Department at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Directs and coordinates the day-to-day operations of departmental unit; assists the Nurse Manager as needed on a daily basis; and assumes administrative responsibility in the absence of the Nurse Manager. The Coordinator will support the Organizational Mission and Values and adhere to the employee standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Required:

Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the Staff of Ohio
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date (ALL)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire date (ALL)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire date (Med Surge, ICU, ED only)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP within 6 months of hire date (OB and ED only)
TNCC or equivalent within 1 year of hire (ED only)
Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional (STABLE) (OB only).

Preferred:

Previous supervisory experience.
3 or more working as a RN in a hospital setting
