Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/FOH team member to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service while accurately handling transactions. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive shopping experience, and you will be responsible for managing cash and maintaining the checkout area.

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using a cash register.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is replenished as needed.
Conduct product demonstrations to inform customers about new items or promotions.
Assist in supervising junior staff members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Address customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.

Skills

Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Experience in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services.
Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales analysis.
Ability to stock shelves efficiently while maintaining product organization.
Previous experience operating a cash register is preferred but not required.
Capability to conduct engaging product demos that attract customer interest.
