Full Job Description

Job Overview
Founded in 2010, ENDOSIM is a successful company producing medical simulation models for physicians and medical device companies. Our simulation models train doctors in the skills required to perform complex medical procedures without the risk of harming patients. ENDOSIM is the market leader in endoscopic simulation with expansion in the field of laparoscopic surgery, spine surgery, urology, and anesthesiology.

We are seeking a skilled CNC/3D Operator/Technician with hands-on experience who is motivated to contribute to the growth of our small company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background as an engineering or production technician with CNC and 3D printers. This includes programming a CNC machine and operating and maintaining 3D printers. A 3+ year experience in 3D printing is mandatory.

You will play a crucial role in the development and production of innovative solutions and lead them from prototype development to a finished product.

The position will assist in developing simulation models with our team and eventually have pride in seeing them utilized in the field at various medical conferences.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and systems based on design specifications, ensuring functionality and compliance with standards.
Program and operate a CNC machine (experience preferred but not mandatory)
Program and operate various 3D printers for prototype design (3+ year experience mandatory)
Operate vacuum forming machine and assembly of simulation models
Ensure all designs are completed within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Operate hand tools, saws, drills and other powered tools
Prepare and process CNC and 3D print jobs, including cleaning and post-processing of parts
Use modeling software to design and modify models
Perform quality control checks on completed jobs
Communicate with engineers and management to understand their requirements and provide technical advice
Manage inventory of materials and supplies
Assist in the training and support of new users
Being a team player by helping out in other areas of the company as needed
Willingness to travel to medical conferences and assist with simulation workshops

Experience

Proven experience as a technician using CNC (optional) and 3D printers (mandatory)
The ability to interpret concepts and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
