The Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement serves as the architect, integrator, and steward of transformation across enterprise Centers of Excellence (COEs), ensuring that all COEs work as one operating model, not independent disciplines. This role is accountable for:
- Building a Zero Loss Mindset culture
- Developing Supply Chain Team Members with strong Plan-Do-Check-Act / Process Improvement related skill set.
- Building capability in Supply Chain Leadership to enable Loss Identification, Loss Elimination Loss Prevention
- Delivering Supply Chain Compelling Business Need (CBN) results (i.e. Productivity, Service, Cost Avoidance, Cash Savings, Team Morale)
- Building enterprise-level understanding of all Integrated Work Systems Centers of Excellence (COE)
- Ensuring integration, alignment, and handoffs across COEs, so transformation efforts reinforce—not compete with—one another
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Materials, Planning, Scheduling Innovation (MPSI) COE – Establish strong business partnerships with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service Logistics.
- Continuous Improvement / Process Optimization (CIPO) COE – Apply a work-process improvement lens to material, process, and delivery performance.
- Quality Maintenance (QM) COE – Design the future-state Quality Maintenance COE and evolve the existing Quality Food Safety (QFS) COE to that ideal state.
- Enterprise (Cross-functional enablement) – Partner with Research Development, Strategy Transformation, Customer Service Logistics (CSL), and QFS to deliver scalable standards and measurable CBN results.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years applicable work experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience (enterprise transformation, continuous improvement, or operations excellence).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous Improvement / Process Optimization, Quality Food Safety, Total Progressive Maintenance, and High Performing Organizations.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end CI/Process Optimization work (e.g., VSM, standard work, problem solving) and integrate improvements across multiple Centers of Excellence.
- Broad business understanding across functions outside Internal Manufacturing, including Procurement, Customer Service Logistics, and Strategy Transformation.
- Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, and Process Excellence systems and measures.
- Ability to coach and influence employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong workshop leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective data analytics and visual management capability (graphical analysis; turning data into actionable insights).
- Digital transformation capability—experience leveraging digital tools/data systems (e.g., Smart Factory or similar) to improve loss visibility and embed insights into daily routines across AM, RM, and other COEs.
- Effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Travel up to 75%
Salary Range: $135,520 - $169,400
Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
