Job Summary

We are seeking a Fully or Provisionally Licensed Contract Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health services across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions through in-person and telehealth platforms. Your expertise will help empower clients on their journey toward improved mental wellness and resilience. This position is paid and ideal for clinicians committed to making a meaningful impact in the community while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

Duties

Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform diagnosis and treatment planning
Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy
Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute psychiatric episodes effectively and ensure client safety
Facilitate intake sessions to gather comprehensive client histories, including medical terminology and clinical documentation standards
Develop and update personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations
Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management, progress notes, and case documentation
Engage in case management activities, including coordination with other healthcare providers for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities

Requirements

Fully or provisionally licensed as a mental health clinician (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of practice
Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays
Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities including motivational interviewing, social work principles, and evidence-based practices like applied behavior analysis (ABA)
Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards
Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions using HIPAA-compliant platforms
Ability to perform mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations accurately
Skills in crisis management, behavior management, grief counseling, trauma-focused therapy, and addiction counseling preferred
Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of clinical research methods and data collection techniques is a plus
Ability to work effectively in outpatient settings or inpatient environments with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics
