Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Cost Controller to help keep projects on track, on budget, and moving forward with confidence. In this role, you will monitor project costs, maintain monthly forecasts, support earned value reporting, and partner closely with project teams and accounting to provide clear, accurate financial insight throughout the project life cycle.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

· Maintain, track, and update monthly cost forecasts for one or more construction projects.

· Prepare project status updates and provide meaningful feedback to project teams and leadership.

· Collaborate with project teams and accounting partners to help meet annual budgets and financial targets.

· Provide monthly earned value updates to support the accounting accrual process.

· Review and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and alignment with project expectations.

· Work both independently and as part of a larger project controls team, depending on project needs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Strong understanding of the project life cycle and earned value management.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to provide clear, transparent project information.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with leadership, project teams, accounting, and suppliers.

· SAP knowledge and experience required.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance, accounting, project management, construction management, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, construction finance, or a related area.

· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Project Controls.

· AACE or PMI certification is not required, but is highly preferred.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
