Job Description:
The Maintenance Mechanic will repair equipment breakdowns which include welding, plumbing, acetylene cutting, bearing replacement, seals, shafts, and other mechanic malfunctions. You will be responsible for performing mechanical preventive maintenance of all production equipment and performing major mechanical overhauls of machinery and equipment. In addition, you will be required to perform routine maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds. Incumbent must maintain accurate records of all time and material used for all assignments and enter the information into the Maintenance system.
The candidate will assume responsibility for housekeeping in the Maintenance area which is maintained on a level consistent with 6S standards. The individual will strictly observe Prysmian’s safety rules as well as any special safety rules which apply to equipment unique to Maintenance, reminding contractors and visitors of their responsibility to comply with all Prysmian Group safety rules as well as any applicable regulations. Participate as fill-in for absences caused by vacation/illness which includes weekends and all shifts as required, and work overtime as needed.

Starting Wage: $42.08/hr.
Shift Differential: $2.50/hr.
3 to 5 years' experience industrial mechanical maintenance, machining, welding, hydraulics & pneumatics.
