Schedule: As-Needed | Clinic Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM & Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | No Weekends or Holidays

As a Registered Nurse in the Wound Healing Center at UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown, you'll provide specialized, compassionate care to patients with complex and chronic wounds while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a collaborative outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for patients receiving specialized wound treatment.

Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, wound care, and strategies that support healing.

Coordinate care with providers and community resources to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and clinical outcomes.

Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to provide safe, effective patient care.

Delegate and collaborate with other healthcare team members to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Promote patient safety by following established policies, infection prevention practices, and quality standards.

Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical expertise.
Qualifications:
Education:

Associates Degree in Nursing from Accredited Nursing School
License(s)/Certification(s):

Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
