Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation and food preparation to team management and food safety compliance. Your expertise will inspire creativity in the kitchen, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain a vibrant, efficient work environment. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Develop innovative menus that align with current food trends and customer preferences, ensuring variety and quality
Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to meet high standards of taste and visual appeal
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs
Enforce strict food safety and sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure guest safety
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution
Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure smooth service during busy periods
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen environment
Collaborate with management on budget control, cost management, and menu pricing strategies
Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef within a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and kitchen management with a focus on quality control
Demonstrated success supervising teams in fast-paced settings with strong leadership skills
Experience managing banquet services, catering operations, or large-scale events such as banquets or conferences
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and industry best practices for hygiene standards
Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control measures within the food industry
Strong understanding of menu planning, dietary considerations, and food presentation techniques
Previous experience overseeing restaurant operations including shift management and staff scheduling
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of food service management
