Full Job Description

Build a flexible telehealth practice with experienced support behind it.

This opportunity is for independently licensed Wisconsin therapists and psychologists who want the autonomy of private practice without having to build everything alone.

Great Lakes Psychology Group (GLPG) is a clinician-founded behavioral health organization that has supported independent therapists since 2011. This telehealth-only opportunity allows you to serve clients throughout Wisconsin while determining your own schedule, caseload, and clinical approach.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Wisconsin license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist
Master’s or doctoral degree in an applicable behavioral health field
Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Current professional liability insurance
Ability to provide telehealth from a private, professional setting that meets applicable privacy and technology requirements
Authorization to practice from the location where services are provided

What you can expect

Complete schedule autonomy: Decide when you are available, which clients you accept, and the size of your caseload. There is no minimum caseload.
Active referral and marketing support: Present your experience, specialties, and therapeutic approach clearly so prospective clients can make a more informed choice.
Scheduling support from real people: A dedicated team can help prospective and current clients navigate scheduling, not simply provide access to scheduling software.
Credentialing and payer support: GLPG assists with credentialing, payer enrollment, and ongoing payer-related administration.
Billing and claims management: Experienced teams manage billing and claims workflows so you can spend more of your time on clinical care.
Connected telehealth tools: Access an integrated EHR, secure telehealth, documentation, scheduling, and practice-management tools.
A dedicated Provider Success contact: Get individualized support when you have questions or want to think through the next stage of your practice.
Professional community: Participate in optional clinician connection and consultation opportunities while retaining your independent clinical judgment.

Already have an established practice? You are welcome to bring existing clients and use GLPG’s services to support the practice you have built. Looking to grow? GLPG can help you build visibility and connect with prospective clients whose needs align with your experience.

Your independent practice

As an independent clinician, you will:

Exercise independent clinical judgment and choose your therapeutic approach
Set and manage your own availability and caseload
Provide ethical, evidence-informed outpatient telehealth services within your scope of practice
Complete clinical documentation and other professional responsibilities in accordance with applicable standards
Maintain all licenses, credentials, insurance, and professional requirements needed to practice

Compensation and contract arrangement

Expected clinician earnings: Typically $75–$100 per completed session
Contract type: 1099 independent contractor
Caseload: No minimum
Schedule: Set by you
Practice format: Telehealth only

Actual per-session earnings vary based on factors such as license type, service provided, payer reimbursement, and applicable contract terms. This is not a guaranteed hourly wage or employee salary. Complete compensation terms are reviewed before contracting.
