We are seeking a R & D Engineering Technician to join our growing company here in Winchester, Virginia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Manage CAD system and generate drawings and models for both internal and external customers.
Process ECR's & ECO's.
Develop specifications, technical bulletins training materials for products.
Product training.
Support machine shop drawing revisions.
Assist in new product development as required.
Provide installation and troubleshooting support for service group.
Ability to handle multiple tasks & Priority.
Other job duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and clearly before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Must be competent in the operation of general office equipment and computers. Computer skills must include Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), AutoCAD and Inventor.

SCHEDULE
The schedule is five days a week Dayshift Monday - Friday. Overtime and weekends will be needed based on department/plant needs. This position will report to the Director of Engineering.
