Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current food trends.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain quality and safety.
Monitor food presentation and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
Assist in developing seasonal menus that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.

Experience

Proven experience in the hospitality or food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and leading a team effectively.
Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices for managing kitchen supplies.
Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus.
