Full Job Description

Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to join their team in North Dartmouth, MA. This is a long-term consulting opportunity expected to last at least one year, supporting a growing, multi-location organization with 15 business units. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on accounting professional who is comfortable managing both day-to-day transactional accounting activities and month-end close responsibilities. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to support a wide range of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash management tasks
Prepare and record revenue-related transactions
Support month-end close processes
Calculate and record payroll accruals
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
Collaborate with operational and finance teams across multiple business units
Partner with the Regional Controller on accounting and reporting initiatives

Qualifications:

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant or similar role
Strong understanding of month-end close and accrual accounting
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
Ability to manage a high volume of transactional accounting work while maintaining accuracy
Self-starter with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required
Experience working in multi-entity or multi-location environments is a plus
