Front Desk & Patient Care Coordinator

Aeterna Aesthetics | West Chester, Ohio

We’re Growing!

Aeterna Aesthetics is growing, and with the addition of dermatology services, we’re looking to add another friendly, organized, and reliable team member to our front desk.

We’re looking for a Front Desk & Patient Care Coordinator who enjoys working with people, is comfortable in a medical setting, and can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you have experience in dermatology, insurance verification, or a medical office, that is a huge plus!

What You’ll Be Doing

Greet patients and create a welcoming experience from the moment they walk in
Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and assist with scheduling
Schedule both aesthetic and dermatology appointments
Verify insurance benefits and help patients understand their coverage
Check patients in and out and collect copays and payments
Assist with dermatology paperwork, referrals, and other front-office needs
Keep patient information accurate and up to date
Communicate with providers and clinical staff to keep the day running smoothly
Help patients with questions about our treatments, products, and services
Assist with rebooking, follow-ups, memberships, promotions, and product sales
Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and welcoming
Help wherever needed to support the team and our patients

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking with patients
Organized and detail-oriented
Reliable and able to multitask
Comfortable working in a busy medical environment
Confident using computers and scheduling/EMR systems
A team player who is willing to jump in and help
Comfortable discussing payments, insurance, and scheduling with patients

Experience We’d Love to See

Dermatology experience is a major plus, especially experience with:

Insurance verification
Medical scheduling
Dermatology procedures and terminology
Referrals and prior authorizations
Electronic medical records
Medical billing or patient accounts

Experience in medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, dermatology, or a med spa is also a plus.
