Full Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Do you have experience in Inventory Control and Quality Control within the jewelry industry? If so we encourage you to apply.

We are URGENTLY HIRING for this position.

We are seeking someone with experience in the jewelry industry, however, we are willing to train the right person for the position of Inventory Control and Quality Control (IC/QC). In this role the candidate is responsible for receiving and issuing jobs within the plant and inspecting products for quality.

DUTIES:

Receive product into the department from the Press Department, outside casters and finished goods vendors.
Pick pieces from Work in Progress (WIP) inventory to issue to job tickets for production departments.
Check inventory levels through cycle counts when issuing production jobs.
Inspect product for quality, based on set standards of acceptability, and initiate repair tickets for product that does not pass quality inspection.
Communicate and interface effectively with all departments.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Final QC inspection of Finished Product

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Accuracy in regards to receiving and issuing jobs
Extreme attention to detail
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes
Basic jewelry knowledge
Basic computer and math skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs.
Standing and/or walking 40%
Reaching 20%
Sitting 30%
Bending 5%
Stooping 5%
