What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

Supporting the development, documentation, and maintenance of quality management system policies and procedures
Assisting with internal and external audit planning, execution, and follow-up activities
Contributing to risk assessment and mitigation planning across compliance and quality functions
Helping to coordinate training and awareness initiatives related to QMS requirements and regulatory standards
Supporting the monitoring and reporting of key quality metrics and compliance indicators
Assisting with regulatory submissions and maintaining documentation to demonstrate ongoing compliance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality system gaps and improvement opportunities

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

2 to 5 years of experience in quality management systems, quality assurance, or compliance functions
Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to your industry (such as FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or equivalent)
Familiarity with audit management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
Knowledge of quality system documentation and record management
Proficiency with quality management or document control software
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have

Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) certification or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification
Experience with ISO 27001, ISO 45001, or other integrated management systems
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
