Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for forecasting, analyzing performance data, logistics and inventory control of established product lines.
Utilize procurement system to analyze material requirements and optimize buying strategies.
Generate purchase orders for materials, finished goods, and other materials as needed.
Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms of sale with vendors.
Investigate and follow-up on vendor related non-conformances.
Maintain service levels by monitoring and proactively addressing inventory requirements.
Monitor customer sku performance, backorders, high-movers, overstocks and fill ratios.
Ability to work with domestic and international vendors, processing purchase orders.
Communication and follow through skills.
Ability to identify and manage priorities.
Ability to multi-task productively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. (Supply Chain Management preferred)
Minimum 5 years of procurement / buying experience.
Experience in hardware distribution and/or manufacturing both domestic and international.
Knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain Management software systems and advanced MS Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook Email.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail combined with good verbal and written communication.
