Full Job Description

Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the quality control and delivery specialist position. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow appropriate quality control and inspection processes for inks.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and move raw materials weighing up to 45 pounds
Previous forklift experience and licensing or willingness and ability to complete safety training and to pass the required testing
Comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to work with minimal supervision and to consistently meet deadlines
Weigh, blend, QC, and deliver in a productive, efficient, and safe manner press-ready inks to meet the demands of the customer’s production schedule.
Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process for inks to ensure quality to presses.
Prepare and maintain accurate records including quality controlled finished ink getting out to press as directed by the supervisor.
Make sure that the office, equipment and floors are cleaned and properly maintained up to the standards the supervisor has put into place.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Review quality of product delivered to customer for conformance vs. specification.

Requirements:

Must have strong communications skills and a working knowledge of MS Excel.
A minimum of a high school degree is required
Valid, drivers license
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to work the following schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM
Ability to work overtime when necessary and if needed weekend hours
Strong emphasis on the ability to identify, set and review quality standards for customers

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move raw materials weighing up to 45 pounds
Must be able to walk, lift, reach, stoop, grasp, balance, twist, bend, climb, kneel, crawl and crouch
