Manager of Healthcare Quality & Performance

Department: Administration

At C.W. Williams Community Health Center, quality isn’t just about meeting benchmarks—it’s about improving lives.

We’re seeking an experienced Manager of Healthcare Quality & Performance to lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, strengthen clinical performance, and prepare our organization for the future of value-based care.

This is more than a reporting role. You’ll partner with executive leadership, providers, clinical teams, and operational leaders to transform data into meaningful action, improve healthcare delivery, and build systems that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do

· Lead organization-wide quality improvement and performance initiatives.

· Analyze clinical quality, utilization, UDS, and operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities.

· Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports that support leadership decision-making.

· Partner with providers to improve documentation, coding accuracy, and clinical quality outcomes.

· Lead cross-functional process improvement projects using evidence-based methodologies.

· Monitor regulatory, accreditation, and quality reporting requirements.

· Support population health strategies and value-based reimbursement initiatives.

· Develop training materials, job aids, and educational resources that improve organizational performance.

· Present quality findings and recommendations to executive leadership.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Four or more years of progressive experience in healthcare quality, quality improvement, population health, managed care, hospital, FQHC, or physician practice operations.

· Experience analyzing healthcare performance data and translating findings into measurable operational improvements.

· Experience leading cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.

· Strong knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement methodologies.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

· Master’s degree.

· Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), hospital, managed care organization, or large physician practice.

· Knowledge of UDS, HEDIS, NCQA, CMS quality measures, and value-based reimbursement.

· Experience with Athenahealth or other electronic health record systems.

· Lean, Six Sigma, CPHQ, or similar quality certification.
