About the role

Crop Claims Reps investigate and maintain crop claims by inspecting crops, evaluating damages and determining the amount of loss. Determines liability, secures information, reviews coverages, arranges property damage appraisals and settles claims. Report inside/outside designation. The territory for this role is the following counties in Illinois: Coles/Douglas/Edgar/Crawford.

How does this role make an impact?

- Investigates crop claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims. - Investigates and completes physical inspections of crop claims, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions. - Initiates first and subsequent contact with insureds and all relevant parties to gather basic information and explain overall claims process.

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Must live in or around the following Illinois counties: Coles/Douglas/Edgar/Crawford.

Base Pay Range:

$55,200-$75,900

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
