Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Designer to join our growing team. This position combines showroom design consultation, customer service, and administrative support to create an exceptional experience for our clients from their first visit through project completion.
In this role, you will guide customers through material selections for their remodeling projects, answer questions, provide project updates, coordinate appointments, and support daily office operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, enjoys building relationships with customers, and can confidently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the showroom and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Assist clients with selecting their finish material selections.
- Educate customers on product options, features, pricing, and design recommendations.
- Build estimates and assist customers throughout the sales and selection process.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Schedule showroom consultations, vendor appointments, etc.
- Communicate project updates to customers and ensure they are informed throughout each phase of their project.
- Coordinate with sales representatives, project managers, installers, fabricators, and vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and project documentation.
- Process orders, invoices, payments, and other administrative paperwork.
- Order product samples and communicate with vendors regarding availability and lead times.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
- Assist with inventory management, sample displays, and merchandising.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting new products, displays, and showroom events.
- Perform general administrative and office duties to support daily business operations.
- Stay current on new products, materials, design trends, and company offerings through ongoing training.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve company goals.
- Follow up with customers regarding selections, approvals, scheduling, and project milestones.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working with customers and providing design recommendations.
- Ability to stay organized with project details, scheduling, and documentation.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
- Professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales, design, or remodeling is preferred but not required.
- Experience in Microsoft platforms.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
