Front Desk & Guest Experience Team Member (Bilingual)
Rincón Diving & Snorkeling – PADI 5-Star IDC | Rincón, Puerto Rico

Overview
Love the ocean? Dream of working where every day feels like an adventure — surrounded by people who care about the sea as much as you do? We’re a small, friendly no-drama team that believes in Service First, Pride in Our Work, and helping every guest fall in love with the sea responsibly.

As part of our Front Desk & Guest Experience team, you’ll welcome divers and snorkelers, book tours, manage rentals, assist with retail sales, and help keep our dive shop running smoothly.

After your probationary period, you’ll have the option be trained as a PADI Scuba Diver — if you'd like to take the plunge. If you’re already certified, you’ll have the opportunity to advance your level through our professional training program.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests (in English and Spanish) with dive, snorkel, and rental inquiries.
Handle bookings and payments through our reservation system (training provided).
Process retail and rental sales accurately and professionally.
Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in questions.
Coordinate tour schedules and communicate updates to guides and staff.
Complete checklists and customer follow-ups.
Participate in daily shop upkeep — everyone helps keep the space looking its best.

Qualifications
Required

Fluent spoken Spanish and English (written English required).
Friendly, reliable, and professional. A people-person. You will be the one to make a first impression to our guests
Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking.
Basic computer and online booking skills. (training provided)
Team player with a positive attitude and integrity.
Minimum age of applicant: 18 years old

Preferred

Retail, hospitality, or reservations experience.
Familiarity with snorkeling, diving, or ocean activities.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

Someone who loves meeting people, thrives in a team environment, and wants meaningful, ocean-centered work — even if you’ve never worked in a dive shop before.

Schedule & Details

Part-time to full-time: approximately 18–35 hours per week
Typical schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (may vary with season and tour times). Some flexibility on days worked.
Includes weekends and some holidays (rotating)
Compensation: $11.50 per hour minimum, with performance-based commissions bringing total potential earnings to $13–$14 per hour
Training and scuba certification opportunities included
