Who we are:

The GYM offers the latest power, cardio, functional, suspension equipment; epic studio & barre classes, extreme training ops; recovery services; locker rooms with Helo saunas and more!

As the first and last point of contact for our members and guests, Front Desk Associates play a key role in shaping The GYM experience. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for health, wellness, and exceptional customer service to grow in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

This is a part-time position with potential shifts of Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

What you’ll do:

Deliver professional greetings, account maintenance, and demonstrate knowledge of The GYM products and services.
Greet and service members in a friendly, professional manner—both when entering and leaving the facility.
Attentively answer questions, solve problems, and refer comments or concerns appropriately.
Answer, transfer, and route phone calls, fielding questions as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized front desk and welcome area.
Admit members by ensuring each member scans their personal keycard or uses The GYM App for entry.
Promptly greet “walk-in” prospective members, offering tours and sharing knowledge of services and amenities.
Process sales transactions at the POS system for memberships, programs, services, and products.
Promote and educate members on using The GYM App and website for schedules, updates, and account access.
Complete all shift responsibilities before clocking out and assist teammates with a positive, teamwork-driven attitude.
Follow incident reporting policies and guidelines precisely.
Monitor and maintain gym cleanliness—ensuring safety, tidiness, appropriate music volume, and presentation of refreshments.
Resolve conflicts professionally and tactfully, adhering strictly to gym protocol.
Ensure The GYM’s Age Guidelines are consistently enforced for the safety of all members and guests.

What you’ll need:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required; retail experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an enthusiastic, dependable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to build genuine, professional relationships with members and teammates.
Confidence to enforce The GYM’s policies and procedures firmly yet courteously.
Ability to lift and move light weights and equipment as needed and remain active throughout the shift.
