Originally established as Viking Sport Cruisers, the company has been part of the Viking family of marine businesses since 1995, combining the world-renowned craftsmanship of Princess Yachts with the customer service, support, and industry expertise that have made Viking a leader in the marine industry.

Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact between Princess Yachts America, vessel owners, captains, dealers, and internal departments. This position assists with coordinating service requests, warranty support, repair scheduling, and customer communications while delivering exceptional ownership experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, customer-focused individual looking to begin or grow a career in the luxury marine industry. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training in Princess Yacht systems, warranty procedures, and service operations while developing the technical knowledge necessary to support customers and service partners.

The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, dealers, captains, brokers, and service providers regarding service requests and warranty concerns.
Deliver exceptional customer service through professional, courteous, and timely communication via phone, email, and in person.
Gather customer information and accurately document service concerns to create work orders and service requests.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair status, scheduling, parts availability, and estimated completion dates.
Build positive relationships that reflect the premium service standards of Princess Yachts America.

Service Coordination

Coordinate repair schedules between customers, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
Assist with organizing service appointments, warranty repairs, inspections, and project timelines.
Monitor service progress and communicate updates to customers and management.
Coordinate parts availability and assist in ensuring projects remain on schedule.
Escalate complex technical issues to experienced service personnel when necessary.

Warranty Administration

Assist with processing warranty claims and maintaining warranty documentation.
Verify customer information and repair details for warranty eligibility.
Maintain accurate service records, customer files, and supporting documentation.
Assist with preparing repair estimates, invoices, and related administrative paperwork.

Administrative Support

Maintain organized electronic and physical customer service files.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and internal service management systems to document customer interactions and project updates.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents as needed.
Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or coursework in Business, Customer Service, Marine Technology, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, scheduling, hospitality, automotive, RV, marine, or other service-related industries preferred.
Experience in the marine industry is a plus but not required.
Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning yacht systems and service operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience using CRM software is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel occasionally to customer locations, marinas, and company facilities.

Work Environment

Professional office environment with regular interaction in marina, service, and manufacturing settings.
Frequent communication with customers, dealers, vendors, and internal departments.
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and marine environments.

Other Requirements

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Willingness to participate in training programs to develop knowledge of Princess Yacht products, warranty policies, and service procedures.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends as required to support customer needs and company events.
