Nurse Practitioner – Aesthetics & Wellness

INTU Med Spa | Lisle, Illinois

Position Type: Part-Time / 1099
Schedule: Flexible, with opportunity to increase hours as the practice grows

Position Overview

INTU Med Spa is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our growing aesthetics, wellness, and longevity practice in Lisle, Illinois. This position is designed for an NP who is comfortable working independently within their scope of practice and is interested in a long-term opportunity that can expand as our wellness and medical services continue to grow.

The ideal candidate is experienced in hormone optimization, medical weight management, peptide therapy, IV therapy, regenerative medicine, and preventative and longevity-focused care. Experience in aesthetics is beneficial but is not required for the right candidate.

Required Qualifications

Current Illinois Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in good standing
Active DEA registration
Current controlled substance authority as required for practice in Illinois
Current BLS certification
Current professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain coverage
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications when appropriate, and provide ongoing patient management
Comfortable practicing within established protocols and collaborating with the medical director and clinical team
Professional communication and patient education skills

Preferred Experience

Experience or interest in the following areas is preferred:

Hormone replacement therapy and hormone optimization
Testosterone replacement therapy
Medical weight management
GLP-1 based weight management programs
Peptide therapy
IV nutrient therapy and injectable wellness treatments
Sexual wellness
Preventative and longevity medicine
Functional or integrative medicine
Regenerative medicine
Medical aesthetics

Training may be available for the appropriate candidate in areas where additional experience is needed.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient evaluation and management for INTU's expanding wellness and longevity services. Responsibilities may include:

Conducting new-patient consultations and medical evaluations
Reviewing medical history, medications, contraindications, and treatment eligibility
Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory testing
Developing individualized treatment plans
Prescribing and managing medications within scope of practice
Managing hormone replacement and testosterone therapy patients
Managing medical weight-loss patients
Evaluating patients for peptide and wellness therapies
Providing follow-up visits and adjusting treatment plans based on clinical response and laboratory findings
Providing patient education regarding treatment expectations, risks, benefits, and alternatives
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Following INTU clinical protocols, policies, and applicable state and federal regulations
Collaborating with the medical director, nursing staff, and other INTU providers
Assisting with the continued development of wellness and longevity protocols as the practice expands

Depending on experience and interest, the NP may also participate in aesthetic consultations and treatments.

Schedule and Growth Opportunity

This is initially a limited part-time position based on current patient volume. The schedule can be structured around designated clinic hours and patient appointments rather than requiring a traditional full-time schedule.

As INTU's hormone, weight management, peptide, sexual wellness, and longevity programs grow, there is an opportunity for the NP's clinical hours and responsibilities to increase.

We are specifically looking for someone interested in developing a long-term relationship with the practice rather than simply covering occasional shifts.

The right candidate is clinically confident, personable, organized, and comfortable working in a boutique medical environment. INTU places significant emphasis on individualized care, patient education, natural outcomes, and long-term treatment planning.

This position is particularly well suited for an NP who wants the flexibility of part-time practice while participating in the development of a growing aesthetics and longevity practice.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, services provided, and level of involvement. Compensation structure and anticipated clinical hours will be discussed during the interview process.
