Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings that bring architectural, mechanical, and construction projects to life. Your expertise in CAD software and building code compliance will ensure that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects across various sectors, from interior design to system layout, while honing your skills in building information modeling (BIM) and advanced drafting techniques.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD.
Create schematic diagrams, construction detail documentation, and system designs for diverse projects.
Utilize BIM tools to generate accurate building information models that facilitate project coordination and collaboration.
Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs adhere to local regulations and standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings.
Perform revisions based on feedback, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the drafting process.

Qualifications

Proven experience with CAD drafting software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of building code compliance and construction detail documentation.
Familiarity with schematic development, system design, mechanical design, interior design, and graphic visualization techniques.
Ability to interpret architectural plans, technical specifications, and construction documents accurately.
Experience with construction projects or related fields such as interior design or mechanical systems is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
