Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drawings Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, comprehensive, and innovative CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings that support various engineering and construction projects. Your expertise in CAD software and mechanical drafting will be crucial in translating conceptual ideas into accurate technical documentation, ensuring seamless communication across project teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex design solutions while honing your skills in a collaborative environment focused on excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed CAD drawings and schematics for diverse engineering projects using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise technical drawings.
Create 3D CAD models and visualizations to support project planning, design validation, and client presentations.
Prepare accurate CAD documentation including layouts, sections, elevations, mechanical details, and schematics that meet project specifications and standards.
Ensure all CAD drawings adhere to industry best practices, company guidelines, and relevant codes or regulations.
Maintain organized CAD files and version control to facilitate efficient project workflows and revisions.
Assist in reviewing design changes or updates by updating CAD models accordingly and communicating modifications clearly.

Qualifications

Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, NavisWorks or equivalent tools.
Strong knowledge of mechanical drafting principles and engineering CAD design processes.
Demonstrated ability in 3D CAD modeling and building information modeling (BIM) tools for construction or mechanical projects.
Familiarity with drafting standards for schematics, technical documentation, and detailed drawings.
Experience in mechanical design or civil engineering drafting is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to interpret complex technical specifications accurately.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various stages of project development.
