Full Job Description

*Job Summary*

The Medical Biller will be responsible for processing medical claims, maintaining patient billing records, and interacting with insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

*Duties*

- Utilize knowledge of medical billing and coding to submit and follow up on claims

- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors

- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials or discrepancies

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in medical billing

*Qualifications*

- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-9, DRG, and CPT coding

- Experience with Pain Management / Medicine Billing and Coding

- Experience with medical billing systems and E-Clinical Works software

- Strong understanding of medical collections and reimbursement processes

- Knowledge of medical office procedures and practices

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
