Full Job Description

NATURE OF WORK: Under supervision of the Resort manager, lease, collect rent, train, assist with overseeing renovations, inventory management, and a variety of customer service and office duties on behalf of the Orange Grove RV & Mobile Home Resort.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following duties ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification, only a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties.

· Acts as manager in the absence of the Manager

· Answering phone calls.

· Take reservations and cancellations for RV and Manufactured Home sites.

· Assist with move-in, move-out, showings, and community events.

· Cashiering of reservation for events and amenities funds.

· Performs property checks to ensure Resort rules are obeyed.

· Picks up litter from parking lots, landscape areas, building entries, and campsites as needed.

· Assist in maintaining common areas, amenities, and office clean.

· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and general public.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is performed in and around Resort facilities and involves exposure to dust, dirt, sun, and cleaning chemicals; subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, performing manual labor, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

· This is a part-time position. Standard work hours are Monday through Saturday 8:30a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

· Willing and able to work extended hours when necessary, including weekends and holidays.

· Must be prepared to respond and participate in off-hour events and emergencies, as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; two or four-year degree preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to read, understand, write, and speak fluently in the English & Spanish language.

· Communicating effectively verbally and in writing fluently in the English & Spanish language.

· Strong computer and technology skills including Microsoft Suite, email, and web-based research.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Ability to make logical and sound decisions.

· Experience in managing and speaking with dissatisfied customers.

· Experience with management of staff and contractors.

· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
