Full Job Description

Flores Eye Care Clinic is seeking a McAllen-area Optometrist interested in relocating to our practice in Laredo, TX. Our established clinic handles a steady patient base of over 9,000 appointments annually, providing immediate clinical volume. This role offers strong compensation, a Monday-Friday schedule, and the equipment necessary to manage advanced ocular cases or build out your own specialty clinics. Relocation assistance is provided.

What We Offer:

Elite Compensation: Starting base salary of $150,000 for Year 1, with a total first-year compensation package value exceeding $200,000.

Choose Your Pay: We pay above industry standards—choose between a high-guarantee base with production bonuses or a lucrative percentage of gross production.

Growth Potential: Built-in potential for yearly salary increases as you grow your clinical specialty.

Work-Life Balance: Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday (no weekends).

Clinical Freedom: Modern, well-equipped office with state-of-the-art instrumentation; flexibility to develop your own specialty clinic (Glaucoma, Dry Eye, Myopia Control, etc.).

Your Role:

Perform routine, comprehensive vision examinations and manage ocular diseases. Consult with patients to provide personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with the team to maintain our high standard of patient care. Build and manage your own clinical specialty area within the practice.

Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school. Active and valid license to practice optometry in the state of Texas. Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care. Motivated, self-starter who values clinical independence and professional growth.

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
