Job Summary
Loving Care PHC LLC is a newly established Primary Home Care agency in McAllen, TX, committed to building a strong, respectful, and service‑driven team. We are seeking a reliable, fast‑paced, and organized PHC Clerk/Receptionist to support daily office operations and assist our Field Supervisor on-site.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, attendants, and visitors—providing excellent customer service while managing essential clerical duties. Your experience in PHC operations, Vesta DataLogic, and office software will help ensure smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and efficient communication. This position offers room for growth as our agency continues to expand.
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls with professionalism, courtesy, and strong customer service skills
- Assist the Field Supervisor with daily clerical tasks and office support
- Perform data entry, record updates, and basic documentation tasks
- Make outgoing calls to locate backup attendants for clients as needed
- Fax, scan, and organize documents for the Field Supervisor
- Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and reception area
- Provide general office support including filing, copying, and email communication
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and follow all HIPAA privacy standards
- Work in a fast‑paced environment and take initiative when tasks arise
- Perform other duties as assigned to support agency operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 months of experience in a Primary Home Care (PHC) office setting
- Familiarity with Vesta DataLogic
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, Microsoft Word, PDF tools, and general computer literacy
- Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to take initiative
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Clean background check
