Job overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all patrons receive top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner. Your ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer preferences are noted.
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that presentation meets our high standards.
Assist in food preparation when necessary, including helping to sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils, to ensure a pleasant dining environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math skills is beneficial for handling transactions effectively.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu items and ingredients.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, and move quickly between tables while maintaining attention to detail.
