Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and measurements throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations, uphold product integrity, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence and precision.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product specifications.
Conduct visual inspections utilizing vision inspection systems and other advanced inspection tools to detect surface defects or inconsistencies.
Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings accurately to ensure proper assembly and production quality.
Execute quality audits in accordance with Company standards.
Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics, non-conformances, and process deviations for continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal standards in production by maintaining detailed inspection records and supporting internal/external audits.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions aligned with quality management systems.

Requirements

Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC processes.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Knowledge of ISO and IPC standards.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong analysis skills for data collection and problem-solving related to dimensional measurements and quality issues.
Basic math skills for precise measurement calculations and data analysis.
Electronic component identification
Ability to perform quality audits systematically while adhering to established protocols.
Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly.
