About the Role

We are seeking a General Manager (Operations) for a growing company in the beauty and hair industry. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, improving efficiency, managing department leaders, and ensuring alignment between teams and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will oversee multiple departments, develop employees, improve operational processes, and ensure company goals are executed effectively while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
Develop, implement, and improve operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, operational resources, and departmental performance.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve productivity.

Team Leadership & People Management

Lead, mentor, and manage department managers and cross-functional teams.
Establish clear goals, expectations, and accountability across all departments.
Delegate responsibilities effectively while empowering team members to make decisions.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.

Strategic Planning & Execution

Partner with executive leadership to establish company objectives and operational priorities.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve efficiency and support company growth.
Coordinate projects across departments to ensure timely execution and accountability.
Monitor progress on company initiatives and adjust plans as needed to achieve business goals.
Stay informed on industry trends and recommend operational improvements where appropriate.

QualificationsExperience

Minimum 8+ years of experience in operations management, business management, or leadership roles.
Proven experience leading multiple departments and managing cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated success improving operational processes and organizational efficiency.

Skills

Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
