Cross Timbers Veterinary Center and Boarding Facility is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Customer Service Representative/Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, loves animals, and thrives in a busy environment where every day brings something new.
Our customer service team plays an essential role in creating a positive experience for every client and patient who visits our hospital or boarding facility. From answering the phone and coordinating appointments to welcoming families and supporting daily operations, you will help keep communication clear, organized, and compassionate.
Previous customer service experience is a plus, and veterinary experience is preferred. More importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to patient care, client service, teamwork, and a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Do

Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and a helpful attitude
-
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by phone and in person
-
Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions efficiently
-
Record, route, and follow up on messages for veterinarians and support staff

Schedule veterinary appointments, procedures, and boarding reservations
-
Check patients and boarding guests in and out
-
Confirm appointments and communicate preparation or arrival instructions
-
Maintain accurate client, patient, and reservation information
-
Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and boarding staff

Help clients understand hospital procedures, policies, and available services
-
Review invoices and process payments accurately

Provide receipts and assist with basic billing questions

Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
-
Help manage client expectations during busy or unexpected situations
-
Respond compassionately during emotional or stressful conversations

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Assist with administrative tasks and daily opening or closing procedures
-
Support teammates and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment

Provide excellent service during weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts

Help ensure every client and pet receives attentive, respectful care

Previous customer service experience is a plus
