Mechanical Assembler - Carrollton, TX - 1st & 2nd Shift
Full-Time, Contract to Hire | $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
1st Shift - 6am to 2:30pm | 2nd Shift - 2pm to 10:30pm
* 5% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift positions

Our client, a leading global electronics manufacturing services company, is seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join their team in Carrollton, TX. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do:

Assembler electro-mechanical products and subassemblies according to specifications, work instructions, engineering drawings, and diagrams.
Mechanically fasten components and subassemblies to create finished products.
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools, including ratchets, wrenches, battery operated tools, and pneumatic tools.
Work with a range of materials and components, from larger mechanical parts to small, intricate parts.
Inspect products during assembly and identify any defects or quality concerns.
Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation.
Handle ESD-sensitive materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-1 years of assembly or manufacturing experience, training is provided.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Experience using basic hand tools and power tools is preferred.
Basic computer skills, including email and electronic work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and diagrams.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to safely lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance when required.
Ability to use hands for handling, assembling, and manipulating parts and tools.
Ability to reach, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks.

Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (5% shift differential)

Pay:
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour
** Please note, wages are based on experience.
