DATABASE ANALYST

Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Database Analyst at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to our clients’ big data obstacles and help advance the mission. Here, you can make a meaningful impact on our clients’ mission and on your career.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation
Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management
Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods
May provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment
Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The Database Analyst must have:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Technical skills: Linux, Oracle 12c+, MySQL/MariaDB
Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
US citizenship required.
Role requirements: Communication and problem solving

Location: On Site Annapolis Junction, MD
Certification: 8570 compliant Security+

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
