Seeking HR Manager:
Farrish of Fairfax is seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead our people operations in a fast-paced automotive retail environment. This is a key role supporting our dealership team with a fully implemented, plug-and-play ADP Workforce Now system.

Position Overview:

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence while partnering closely with dealership leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding
Administer and optimize ADP Workforce Now (system is fully built out and ready for day-to-day use)
Administer Payroll
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Handle benefits administration
Partner with managers on workforce planning, training, and employee development
Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as needed
Support a positive, high-performance dealership culture

Ideal Qualifications

Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in a franchise automotive dealership environment.
Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or other Human Resource software
Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic retail/dealership setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a Dealer Management System (CDK preferred)
Prior automotive retail or multi-location dealership HR experience; HR Managers without direct Franchise Dealership experience may still be considered for this role
