Job Description

Advise clients on the design, operation, and compliance of tax-qualified retirement plans.
Counsel clients on ERISA, Internal Revenue Code requirements, SECURE 2.0, and evolving legislative and regulatory developments.
Draft and update retirement plan documents, amendments, summary plan descriptions, and participant communications.
Conduct legal research and provide practical legal analysis for complex retirement plan matters.
Partner directly with clients to identify legal risks and develop effective compliance strategies.
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Stay current on retirement plan legislation and regulatory guidance affecting clients.
Manage multiple sophisticated matters while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

Active Bar license in any U.S. state.
3+ years of legal experience with tax-qualified retirement plans.
Strong knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code requirements.
Experience with 401(k), profit-sharing, defined benefit, and/or cash balance plans.
Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and writing skills.
Strong communication and client relationship abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative legal environment.
