Full Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing and executing a high-quality culinary program that supports the company's brand, enhances guest experiences, and drives operational excellence across all culinary outlets, events, and initiatives by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Duties

Develops and executes a long-term culinary vision that aligns with our brand identity, highlights seasonal ingredients, and anticipates evolving guest preferences.
Designs compelling, on-brand menus tailored to experiences including tastings, private events, seasonal promotions, and large-scale gatherings. Maintains and executes a seasonal rotating menu at each site.
Leads the development of a culinary program that enhances pairings, elevates brand storytelling, and delivers immersive guest experiences.
Oversees culinary operations across multiple locations—including tasting rooms, event venues, off-site activations, and a mobile food truck ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality at every touchpoint.
Directs daily kitchen operations to maintain high standards in food preparation, service, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
Plans and delivers dinners, VIP engagements, and large-scale culinary events with creativity, precision, and a commitment to fanatical hospitality.
Recruits, trains, and mentors culinary staff roles within the kitchen space. Foster a high-performance culture focused on excellence, professionalism, and accountability.
Ensures alignment in food presentation, flavor profiles, and service standards across all outlets to reflect the company's elevated brand image.
Oversees sourcing and purchasing of food and kitchen supplies while minimizing waste. Cultivate strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and specialty vendors while maintaining quality and negotiating competitive pricing.
Manages food and labor costs through effective budgeting, inventory control, and vendor negotiations, while upholding exceptional culinary standards.
Maintains safe, clean, and organized kitchen environments in compliance with all health and food safety regulations.
Works a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime, based on operational needs and event calendars. Peak season requires more involvement in the day-to-day operations and a full presence in the kitchens.
Partners with executive leadership to support expansion efforts and new culinary concepts. Work closely with marketing to promote seasonal offerings and special events.
Defines and communicates the culinary identity across all internal and external touchpoints. Serve as a spokesperson for culinary initiatives and community engagement.
Leads experimental kitchen efforts to test and scale new culinary offerings aligned with future brand growth.
Establishes and tracks KPIs to measure culinary success, guest satisfaction, and operational performance across all sites.
Performs other responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the culinary program and broader organizational goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Education & Experience

A one-year certificate from college or technical school in culinary arts is required for this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires at least 10 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements

Pay: $59,982.90 - $69,999.00 per year
