Full Job Description

Currently offering a $125 sign on bonus if you work until your first pay day and an additional $125 if you stay for 60 days.

$100 stipend paid to you for each week you are on call (Sunday-Saturday).

Must have a minimum of one year experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled adults in a group home setting to apply for this position.

Job Requirements / Essential Functions

1. Must have sufficient experience with individuals with developmental disabilities/health care experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.

2. Must be able to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team oriented. relationships with coworkers, supervisors, supervisees, and other providers of services to OMRS residents.

3. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

4. Must be accessible by phone or message device.

5. Must be able to access reliable transportation to fulfill job responsibilities.

6. Must be physically able to perform the assigned tasks, including but not limited to the ability to achieve and maintain the required level of OIS certification for the home in which the individual is to work.

7. Must be able to qualify as a driver for company owned vehicles.

8. Must be able to qualify as a signer for company/resident banking accounts.

9. Maintain current cpr and first aid certification.

The Program Manager is in charge of the group home they work at whether it be the financials, the staffing, discipline, training and growth of the staff, on call duties as well as annual ISP's for residents. They will follow all licensing OAR's and policies of TrueNorth Oregon to ensure that the residents needs are met and residents are living fulfilling lives. In the homes there is an Assistant Manager and/or Lead Staff (2) that is also supervised by the Program Manager and they all share on call duties with the Program Manager.

The Program Manager typically works Monday-Friday, day shifts. In the event of a call in or to keep overtime down, it could require you to cover floor shifts on days, swings, graveyards and they could include weekends. Is this a problem for you?
