Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN to join our Faculty as Instructor Coordinator. The ideal candidate will Instruct classes for Nurse Aide 1 candidates prepareing them to take state test for Certification. You will follow the prescribed curriculum and demonstrate skills for students. You will accompany students during clinicals to insure they are properly using techniques taught in class. Class is five weeks and is scheduled as we have students. Classes may be 9am-3pm Mon- Friday or 4pm-8pm. Monday- Friday.

Instructor- Meets at least one (1) of the following:

At least 2 years as Registered Nurse

a) completion of a course in teaching adults; or

b) experience in teaching adults; or

c) experience in supervising nurse aides.

Coordinator- Has at least one (1) year (2000 hours) of

Registered Nurse experience in the provision of

long-term care facility services in the United States

demonstrated by:

a) working in a long-term care facility licensed as

a skilled nursing facility or a skilled nursing

facility which is a distinct part of a hospital; or

b) supervising or teaching students in a long-term

care facility licensed as a skilled nursing facility

or a skilled nursing facility which is a distinct

part of a hospital.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
