Job Duties:
Unica Group, Inc in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks Software Developer – Applications. Gather and analyze functional requirements with the Business Analyst team to identify challenges and risks to existing systems to provide robust technical solutions. Create detail technical design documents to implement the business requirements and user stories. Develop rich and responsiveness User Interface screens for medical assistance, Food Stamp, and Cash Assistance application features. Perform validations, user interaction events, partial page updates, and performance features using client-side programming. Develop service-oriented layers, business access and data access layers and other reusable layers of application using industry best practices to improve data flow in the application from front-end to back-end. Create and manage database packages, functions, triggers, stored procedures, tables, indexes and Day 0 Scripts as per business requirements to stable the application. Plan, code, execute unit tests to detect bugs and validate each unit to ensure it generates expected results as per the system functionality and design. Involved in UAT and Integration testing for application. Identify bugs, investigating the root cause, analyzing the impacts by troubleshooting, debugging, fix them and perform regression and integration testing and ensure to document the changes and attach to the bug/task. Perform code review meetings to ensure the code quality, reusability, coding best practices and performance to ease the complexity and better functionality. Manage source code repository for code Check-ins/Checkouts, merge conflicts and building application for version compatibility issues in multiple environments. Involved in builds and deployment process to provide support to RM (Release management) team and ensure to test Risk Base Authentication (RBA) and SiteMinder response and functionality after a Production/Patch release and document with screenshots. Submit weekly status reports regarding the work that has been completed for that week as well as work that will be completed in the coming week.
Travel: Must be willing to travel and relocate to unanticipated client locations in the U.S. Telecommuting from home allowed from anywhere in the United States when not needed at client site.
Job Requirements:
Must possess a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related field. Must also possess experience with SDLC, UML design, Microsoft Visual Studio, Typescript, Angular5, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Oracle 12c, Corticon (BRMS), .Net Framework, Web services (SOAP and Web API), MS Unit, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, SQL Server 2019, MTM tool, TFS, MS Build, TFS Query, and MVC.
